MusicLong Story Short Paul has released his first new CD in five years. Titled Long Story Short, it features songs about life, death, conflict, and Pablo Picasso's mother. Engineered by East Side Flash (who doubles as Dobro player on one song) and recorded at Flashpoint Studio in Austin, Texas, this CD features performances by David Hamburger on Dobro and National slide guitar, Danny Barnes on banjo, Paul Pearcy on percussion, Richard Brock on harmonica, Warren Hood on violin and mandolin, and Cyd Cassone on tambourine. Harmonies are provided by Ruthie Foster, Cyd Cassone, Bill Passalacqua, Wendy Wentworth, Jackie Kemmy James, and Catherine Berry.
With ten songs already recorded and mixed, Paul and company only have a few more left to work on before its release in late summer or early fall 2003. It promises to be his best work ever.
